I have spent the past 20 years teaching university courses and workshops, in a variety of school environments,  which engage participants in exploring the creative process. My expertise is engaging non-artists and artists in the creative process with an eye towards an understanding of the need for integrating creative thinking in all academic and life disciplines.

Based on my experiences in the classroom and lecture hall, I have developed a presentation entitled, Imagination and the Creative Process: Structure, Form, Improvisation and Practice.  Or, How Much is Two Plus Two? Click on the video heading to see a sample presentation.

I can provide programs, seminars and workshops in schools and other venues for students, faculty and administrators based on my presentation which include supporting activities and dialogue.  This can be done in half day or full day workshops.

I also provide residency workshops in schools for an engagement I call Myths, Masks and Identity in which students explore cultural narratives finding the connections between the narratives and cultural and personal identities.  This is done through academic and artistic engagement, specifically the making of masks. This program requires seven sessions which can be done with any age group over a week long or longer residency.
